Directions:
1. Sign up for the challenge. (Scroll down to Event Sign-up)
2. Complete challenge by making an app/website/game (Has to be code).
3. Make sure to follow code of conduct.
4. Make a video showcasing your project.
4. Upload the video through dashboard.
5. Await scoring!

1.) Creativity:

  • Uniqueness of the idea

  • Innovative features that distinguish the application

  • Creative problem-solving approach

  • User interface design and ease of use

  • Clarity in presenting information and features

  • Intuitive navigation for both tech-savvy and non-tech-savvy users

  • Functionality and robustness of the application

  • Quality of code and adherence to best practices

  • Effective use of technologies and frameworks

4.) Practicality

  • Real-world applicability and impact on the community

  • Scalability and potential for widespread adoption

Requirements:

  1. Your story should have at least three characters.

  2. There should be a beginning, middle, and end to your story.

  3. Use basic animations and movements to make your characters come alive.

  4. Include dialogues or speech bubbles to tell parts of your story.

  5. Add background music or sound effects to enhance the experience.

  6. Make sure your code is well-organized and easy to understand.

Bonus:

  • Add a special effect or a surprise element to your animation.

  • Experiment with different backgrounds and settings for your story.

  • Try creating a simple interactive element where the viewer can click to change the direction of the story.

Judging

  1. Storytelling (40 points):

    • Make a story with beginning, middle and end.

  2. Character Animation (20 points):

    • Basic Movements: Use of basic animations and movements.

  3. Dialogue and Communication (15 points):

    • Speech Bubbles: Use text bubbles to have characters speaking

    • Voiceover or Sound Effects: Use background music or sound effects.

  4. Coding Organization (15 points):

    • Code Structure: how well is the code organized.

  5. Bonus Elements (10 points):

    • Special Effects or Surprise Element: Use special effects or surprise elements in the animation.
